I recieved my Ph.D. at the School of Architecture at Tsinghua University. My research interests are data-driven urban studies and computational social science. My Ph.D. dissertation is on Mobile Phone Data and Urban Studies. I received my bachelor’s degree in Architecture in 2011 at Tsinghua University, and a dual bachelor’s degree in Economics in 2012 also at Tsinghua University. I worked at Baidu Research from 2015 to 2017 as a data scientist, and developed two projects (Mobimetrics; Big data and poverty reduction). I co-founded a tech podcast called Fruitalk and two data science companies QuantUrban and Stardust.
